I was there for ~ 2 weeks before being moved to another hospital.

Although having private cover and giving the hospital all details there was no way I would have wanted to move to the private hospital - I was more than satisfied in my 4 bed ward. Wonderful hospital with wonderful staff.

In the past we have had excellent service at this hospital however, today I can't believe how poor the service was. I was told that my father was being discharged in the morning so I took the morning off work. By 12pm still not discharged and was told to come back around 4-5pm. It's 5.15 and we're still waiting. My dad is 85 years old and doesn't need to be put through a whole day of just waiting around. Very disappointing service from this 'state of the art' hospital.

Had a stroke, got taken by ambulance to this hospital. I was put under sedation and out by the time I got to the hospital. In fact out for 2 days. I was flabbergasted that they first diagnosed me as having taken drugs! I don't take any drugs! They took a lot of x-rays. Then next morning they took an MRI and found I had a stroke in the brain. They didn't address this on the day, but instead assumed I had taken drugs. And they have an entire ward for stroke patients. It's too late now but had they detected I was having a stroke they may have been able to do something about it.

I was recently operated on 21/8/17. On the Brain for the second time and they couldn't have been nicer.

An amazing group of people that made my stay at the hospital as comfortable as was possible. The nurses are amazing and go out of their way to make sure everything runs as well as can be hoped for and always keep you informed along the way as to what is happening.

After having a collapse at home and hitting my head enough to require 6 stitches I was taken by ambulance to RNSH where I rushed to the resus bay and then admitted to F7 bed 19 (after the first night sharing a ward with 3 men). There I spent the next 3 weeks and couldn't speak highly enough of the careing doctors and nurses both male and female who took care of me also the physio and rehab staff (who advised me to hire a shower chair for a time to give me independence) - all just so wonderful.
